here's going to be my next attempt at softening up a tough steak.
Fillet the steak so it's about half an inch thick.
First throw it in a plastic bag with pineapple juice for 1 hour. Use fresh squeezed pineapple juice so that it has the good enzymes. Then throw that away except for the meat and
soak it for 4 hours in a combination of Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, red wine, pepper and allspice, mustard.
Take it out and throw it in the frying pan on medium high for 3 minutes on each side, add olive oil to keep from sticking as much, and eat it.
DO NOT reuse any of the marinade liquid!!
And the answer is... Success!
Tender, but not mush. Slightly dry, but delicious.
